Notes:
This cover was issued 50 years ago in 1965 when the Post Office issued stamps to mark the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. I have a few of these covers remaining (different designs) to which I have added one or more of the new Battle of Britain postage stamps now issued for the 75th anniversary. Also added is the R J Mitchell (designer of the Spitfire aeroplane) Commemorative Stamp Label issued 20 years ago in 1995. These items are highly collectable - obviously very few exist - these are very rare with the Biggin Hill 1965 postmark.
