These covers bear six stamps of varying ages from 60 to over 100 years old. These are genuine mint stamps affixed to the envelope from the reigns of Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, King George V, King Edward VIII, King George VI and an early definitive stamp featuring Queen Elizabeth. The new stamp in the centre shows our the FIRST STAMP to feature our new King. I have produced similar covers with stamps from the six reigns for several of the stamp issues featuring royal anniversaries. They have always proved very popular.
These covers are hand made from the finest quality linen textured paper.
The above Royal Mail Charles III Definitives were issued on 04 April 2023 by Royal Mail and feature the following stamp designs: 1st Class Plum Purple; 2nd Class Holly Green; 1st Large Marine Turquoise; 2nd Large Dark Pine Green. The Queen Victoria to Charles III first day cover with the Windsor, Coat of Arms, Special Handstamp postmark has been produced by Bradbury and features these stamps which can make a very collectible and lovely gift.
