It is very difficult, sometimes virtually impossible, to get good clean undamaged covers from 1935-1964. These issues are invariably damaged in one way or another, or have illegible or unconnected postmarks and scruffy hand written addresses. It is for this reason that I have designed a short series of 'recreated fdcs' printed on quality linen textured paper.
