A sort of ‘half way house’ between first day covers and business customised stamp sheets, these A4 designs are printed digitally on high quality card and look stunning.
Each has a stamp (from a new set) franked with a special first day of issue postmark.
They are printed on both sides and often show reproductions of earlier stamps relevant to theme of the card issue.
The above Royal Mail Battle of Waterloo: Miniature Sheet were issued on 18 June 2015 by Royal Mail and feature the following stamp designs: 1st Prussian Infantryman; 1st Light Infantry, King’s German Legion; £1.33 92nd Gordon Highlanders; £1.33 French Imperial Guard Grenadier. The Wellington, Blucher and Bonaparte first day cover with the Birmingham, Wellington Way, Special Handstamp postmark has been produced by Bradbury and features these stamps which can make a very collectible and lovely gift.
