Percy Thrower MBE was a British gardener, horticulturist, broadcaster and writer.
He became nationally known through presenting gardening programmes, starting in 1956 with the BBC's Gardening Club, then the BBC's Gardeners' World from 1969 until 1976.

The Percy Thrower Letter first day cover with the London SW1, Special Handstamp postmark has been produced by Bradbury and features these stamps which can make a very collectible and lovely gift.
