Julia Clements OBE was an English flower arranger and lecturer on floral arranging whose career spanned over 60 years. She wrote some 20 bestselling books on the subject of flower arranging, as well as contributing to a variety of publications on gardening. For 12 years, she wrote a column for Popular Gardening.

The above Royal Mail Flowers were issued on 20 January 1987 by Royal Mail and feature the following stamp designs: 18p Blanket Flower; 22p Globe Thistle; 31p Echeveria; 34p Autumn Crocus. The Julia Clements Letter first day cover with the London SW1, Special Handstamp postmark has been produced by Bradbury and features these stamps which can make a very collectible and lovely gift.
