The first Self Adhesives (Collection Offer)
Royal Mail issued their first self adhesive stamp on 19th October 1993. It was a 1st Class Machin design in horizontal format, therefore visually different from earlier Machin designs. This particular format was only available for a very limited period, being removed from sale on 30th April 1995. This collection comprises of four differently designed covers with both first and last day postmarks - very few exist with both first and last dates.
